THINGS eXecutive Update™
The Power of Analytics

Event Partner: KX

Analytics has been growing in importance fueled by ever increasing power and speed of processors and computer storage. Here is one definition: Analytics uses data and math to answer business questions, discover relationships, predict unknown outcomes and automate decisions. This diverse field of computer science is used to find meaningful patterns in data and uncover new knowledge based on applied mathematics, statistics, predictive modeling and machine learning techniques. (SAS)

In order to make use of the enormous amounts of data generated, collected and stored today, organizations need to have solid data architectures in place and apply relevant tools from the entire toolbox for every single application. That toolbox includes tools like AI, machine learning and computer vision but also the less hyped Analytics. The journey from Excel to AI starts with Analytics, and making relevant data available and actionable to all people involved is of greatest importance.

We are happy to organize this eXecutive Update™ together with our member KX as Event Partner.
KX provides the most performant Streaming Analytics Platform to enable a number of Formular 1 teams, all major investment banks and other industries to analyze their data in real-time - on-premises, on the edge, in the cloud or in combination.

Our aim is to give our executives a quick update on the state of analytics today, by presenting a couple of real life cases from THINGS member companies who are commercially active in the field of Analytics today.
